The “Accessibility” button in the header of every page opens the settings. Your choices are remembered in your browser.
- Text size: up to 175%, without losing content.
- Light, dark or automatic theme: following your device or your choice.
- High contrast: white text on black with yellow links.
- Readable font: no serifs or italics, wider letter spacing; helps people with dyslexia.
- Increased line spacing: easier to follow the text.
- Underlined links: links can be recognised without relying on colour.
- Stop animations: for people sensitive to motion.
- Large cursor: for users with low vision.
- Read aloud: the browser reads the page content if your device has a voice for the language.
How the site is built
WCAG 2.1, AA.
- The site can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus and a “Skip to content” link.
- Headings follow a logical order and pages have landmarks for screen readers.
- All images have text alternatives; decorative images are skipped by screen readers.
- Contact form fields are labelled and errors are announced to screen readers.
- The site works on phones, tablets and computers.
